He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wheeler and Linda Blanton Wheeler; and his sister Carrie. He is survived by: his wife Abbie Helms Wheeler; his children, Wendy Wright (Lee) of Kershaw, E. J. Wheeler of Kershaw, John, Bass of Cassatt and Patrick Helms of Wesley Chapel, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Emma Lou, Hunter, B. J., Ethan, Addie and Chloe.
