With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane B. Portman of Kershaw, South Carolina, born in Hartsville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Ray Portman; her parents, L. E. Baker and Geneva Watkins Baker; her children, Hedi Portman and Ronnie Portman; and her siblings, Rev. Jimmy Baker, Jean Brown and Shirley Oneal.
She is survived by: her sons, Sam Portman (Amy) and Eddie Portman; her brothers, Donnie Baker (Carol) and David Baker (Charlene); and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Bankhead, Clida Holley, Linda Portman and Viola Baker. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
