He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gandy and Minnie Taylor Gandy; his son Mike Gandy; and his siblings, Carl, Coleman, Earl, Essie, Jessie, Mary, Mazie, Myrtle, Otis, Ralph, Vera and Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Williams Gandy; his daughter Patricia Ann Crout (Rick); his daughter-in-law Susan Gandy; his grandsons, Josh Gandy and Dylan Gandy (Kendra); and his sister Ruth Lawhorn (Gene).
