He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Evans and Alberta Brown Evans; and his brother Benjamin Evans. He is survived by: his wife Cassandra "Sandy" Dickens Evans; his daughter Cassie Evans McDonald (Dontra) of Columbia; his siblings, Michael Evans (Julia) of Columbia, Sharon Falana of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Janifer of Virginia and Mary King (Leonard) of Kershaw; his aunts, Maranda Fletcher, Ethel Fletcher, Ollie Mae Doby, Rosa Jones and Jeffa Mae Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa Evans of Camden and Mildred Fletcher of Kershaw.
