It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara G. Williams of Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Griffin and Effie Usher Griffin; and her siblings, Heath Allen Griffin and Mildred Cuthbertson. She is survived by: her husband Frederick E. Williams; her children, Joseph F. Williams (Michelle) and Jennifer W. Ridings (Mike); her grandchildren, Ari, Evan, Ethan, Talan, Owen and Colin; and her sister-in-law Wilma Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Barbara was like a big sister to me as she lived with us for several years. She was fun and had a smile that will never be forgotten. At gatherings, always look forward to her and Freddie being there. As my dad (her brother) became ill with cancer, Barbara kept in touch and remained that faithful sister. I saw her graduate HS and get married at our house! We will miss her here, but look forward to a grand family reunion with her brother (my dad), sister and dad (my papa) in heaven. Allen G”
