With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex Mitchell Sims of Kershaw, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Sims and Ruth Coates Sims; his daughter Victoria Diane Sims; and his brother Randy Sims. He is survived by: his grandson Jayden Sims; his sister Pat Sims Hinson; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Kemmner (Barry), Kelly Phillips (Scotty), Joey Hinson (Shea), Alan Sims (Christina) and Hayley Payne (Jason).
