He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis Bridges and Rita O'Neal Mixson Bridges; and his brother Andy Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Kathy S. Bridges; his children, Matt Bridges (Darla) of Johnsonville, William David Bridges, II (Carleen) of Hampton, SC, Mary Bridges Stanley (Keith M.) of Nixville, SC and Chelsey Jean Ashlaw (Adam) of Beaufort, SC; his brother Michael L. Bridges (Esther) of Allendale, SC; his grandchildren, Emily (Stanley), Leland Stanley, Zoey Ashlaw and Brody Ashlaw; and his pets, Sebastian and Bubba.
