She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Gist; her parents, Joseph Copeland and Minnie Earl Copeland; and her siblings, Leola Prysock, Louvenia Lovick, Edna Jones, Corabelle Copeland, Chester, Bravell and Leroy Copeland.
She is survived by: her brothers-in-law, Roy Gist (Lilin) and Erwin Nelson; her close friend Glenn Landrum; and her nephew Rev. Antwand Copeland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
