He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson and Maebell Hill Sprouse; his daughter Buffy Sprouse; and his siblings, Paul Sprouse, Christine Johns and Ruby Weathers.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Johnson Sprouse; his children, Alisha Johnson (Marshall) of Roebuck and Dwayne Sprouse (Tara) of Woodlawn; his stepdaughters, Wendy Kaczmarek (Richard) and Jennifer McVey (Peter); his grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Haley, Bradley, Austin, Luke, Faith, Hope, Sabrina, Zoey, Blake, Tarren, Taylor, Tiffany, Michelle, Danielle, Brittany, Joshua, Savannah and Lauren; and his siblings, Bobby Sprouse (Jean), David Sprouse, Alma Parker and Betty Whitt. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church.
