It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Kershaw Sr. of Jonesville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Kershaw and Mable Smith Kershaw; and his siblings, Israel Kershaw of Leroy Kershaw, J. T, Norris Kershaw, Willie Lee Kershaw Smith, Floree Kershaw Wilkes and Joella Kershaw "Booche" Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Spears Kershaw; his children, Alex Kershaw, Jr. and Tenesha Kershaw; his granddaughters, Alexia Kershaw, Da'Maya Gist and Kehlanie Jeter; his brother James Kershaw (Marilyn); his grandmothers, Rogers, Doshia Kershaw, Blanche Kershaw, Edna Kershaw and Laurie Henderson (John); and his brother-in-law Roosevelt Hardy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
