He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Simpkins and Susie Bell Smith Simpkins; his children, Susie B. Simpkins and Willie James Simpkins'; and also, Mack Simpkins, Jr., Delois Stewart and Otis Simpkins.
He is survived by: his son Stanley Simpkins (Unez); his wife Corine Dukes Simpkins; his daughters, Emma Jean Swittenburg (Claude) of Johnston, SC, Diane Mitchell of Edgefield, SC, Linda Levi of Trenton, SC and Lorine Drumming (Robert) of Trenton, SC; his siblings, Anna Doris Cooks of Aiken, SC, Betty Jean Graham of Aiken, SC, Vivian Clayton of Patterson, NJ, David Simpkins (Irene) of Plum Branch, SC and Climus Simpkins (Emma) of Aiken, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Curry Simpkins, Annie Jones, Thomas Dukes and Bennie Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
