She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stranton and Beatrice Patterson Stranton; her son Tony Adams; and her brothers, Lawrence Stranton and James Stranton.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Burton; and her siblings-in-law, Annie B. Stranton of Maxton, NC, Maggie Burton of Johnston, SC, Annie Bell Grant of Johnston, SC, Viola Pugh of Johnston, SC, Cherry Burton of Johnston, SC and Elijah Burton, Jr. of Johnston, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
