She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sizemore and Juanita Widener Sizemore; her husband James Carlton Rutland; her siblings, Mildred Sizemore Stone and Clyde Sizemore; and her siblings-in-law, Cynthia Thompson Sizemore and Charles Stone.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrin Rutland (Crystal) of Cleveland, TN and Gary Rutland (Sarah) of Ridge Spring, SC; her grandchildren, Grant, Tripp, Emily and Morgan; and her siblings, Joyce Engle (Tom) of Vero Beach, FL and Willie Sizemore (Rebecca) of New Ellenton, SC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
