It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Lamar Holmes of Johnston, South Carolina, born in Ward, South Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hugh and Ivy Morris Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Carlene Beasley Holmes; his close friend Watson Rhodes; his daughters, Angela Hough (Michael) and Tonja Hutcherson (Steve); his sisters, Florence Morris and Vivian Forrest; his grandchildren, Brittany Atkinson, Clay Bradley (Olivia), Nicholas Hutcherson, Carley Hutcherson, Josh Hough (Jena) and Hannah Hough; and his great grandchildren, Katilyn, McKinley, Ryder Atkinson, Thompson Hough, Presley Hutcherson and Layla Bradley.
