He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Oliver Ott and Claudell Rhoney Scott; and his stepfather Albert Elijah Scott. He is survived by: his siblings, Harriet Oswalt (Barry), Susan Hall (Glen), Rebecca Posey (Phillip), Leighann Scott, George Ott (Debbie) and Duwayne Scott (Allie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
