She was predeceased by: her husband Forrest Edwards. She is survived by: her parents, Elizabeth Brunson and Claude Mahlon Clark; her children, Leisa Edwards Long (Tom) and Forrest Mahlon Edwards; and her grandchildren, Julie Long Shirley (Todd), David Forrest Long (Jamie), Lauren Edwards Liles (Robbie), Jamie Edwards Johnson (Fran) and Forrest Mahlon Edwards, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Johnston First Baptist Church, 700 Church St., Johnston, SC 29832 or Our Saviour Episcopal Church, PO Box 206, Trenton, SC 29847.
