He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jim Barton, Mariann Barton and Shirley Ridenour. He is survived by: his siblings, John Barton, Harry Barton, Pat Barton (Connie), Marian Richardson and Rita Copeland; his friend Larry Moore; and his pet Skeeter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. William Catholic Church (116 St. William's Church Road, Ward, SC 29166).
