She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lee and Ruby Mae Brooks Rook. She is survived by: her husband Horace William "Rock" Bledsoe; and her children, Dr. Horace William "Butch" Bledsoe, Jr. (Sharon Wall), Dr. Ricky Lee Bledsoe (Susan) and Debra Bledsoe Mims (Rob). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
