It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Shealy Barnes (Johnston, South Carolina), born in Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hoy Shealy and Lessie Mae Smith Shealy; and her sisters, Marilyn Shealy and DeLancye Shealy. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Holmes (Willis) and Jan M. Barnes (David); and her siblings, Shirley Leaphart, Sederis Miller, June Amick, Annelle Bedenbaugh, Sandra Taylor, Brenda O'Cain and Kenneth Shealy.
