She was predeceased by: her parents, Relee Perry and Davyde Perry; her daughter Melissa Bostic; her siblings, David Lee Perry, Reggie Perry and Pamela Tanner; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Blanton.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Avant, Kim Foxworth, Tara Meglan (Joe) and Shannon Prosser (Allana); her grandchildren, Andrea, Drew, Ashton, Gracy, Abbi, Brady, Kirby, Jack, Gavin, Maleek and Heather; her siblings, Linwood Perry, Morris Perry (Margie) and Tenzil Pope (Duanne); and her brother-in-law Clarence Blanton.
