It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Altman (Johnsonville, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Altman and Mary Elizabeth Matthews Altman; and his siblings, Benson Altman, C. H. Altman, Snow Altman, Norman Altman, Fleety Todd, Essie Morris, Ella Mae Arnold, Nell Kederick and Gene Solomon.
He is survived by: his son Shayne Altman (Janice) of Johnsonville; his sister Lette Goodman (Murray) of Pembroke Pines, FL; his stepdaughters, Rebecca Lynch and Beth Howell; his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Laster, Bradlee Howell, Makayla McIntosh and Bethany Howell; his stepgreat-granddaughter Emberly Aikens; and his sister-in-law Irene Altman Layton of Louisburg, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
