With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Morris Eugene Hyman of Johnsonville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Myers and Martha "Libby" Hyman; and his sister-in-law Ann Hyman. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Kirton Hyman; his children, Andy Hyman, Christina Gordon and Misty Johnson; his daughter-in-law Ashley Tyler; his daughter Heidi Hartfield; his grandchildren, Mason, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, Serena and Sidney; his great grandchild Wrenley Poston; his granddaughters, Melody and Brittany; his siblings, James McDaniel (Tiffany), Myers Hyman (Anna), Luther Hyman and Helen Thompson (Lanny); and his close friends, Edward Bell and Dean McAllister.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
