He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bingley Stone, Sr. and Bessie Lee Poston Stone; his brothers, Jackie Stone (Willa Mae), Laross Stone and Greg Stone; and his brother-in-law Roy Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shelley Stone; his children, Angie McKenzie (Dale), Melissa Collins (Cliff) and Toby Stone; his siblings, Bobby E. Stone (Linda), Andy Stone (Laura) and Belinda Roberts; his grandchildren, Raulston McKenzie, Rylan McKenzie, Caroline Collins and Caley Collins; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Stone, Velda Stone and Jean Stone.
