She was predeceased by: her husband John Lewis Gaster; her parents, Ross Gilpin and Bonnie Gilpin; her children, Carla Miller and Lance Williams; her grandson Justin Williams; and her sister Gail Mogg.
She is survived by: her sons, Claude Williams (Paula Huggins) and Ricky Powell (Sharon); her grandchildren, Josh Powell, Adam Powell (Taylor), Suzanne Chavis (Danny), Ryan Doonan (Bentley), Blake Miller, Wyatt Griffith and Chandler Griffith; her great grandchildren, Mack Doonan, Lucy Doonan, Liam Chavis and Anne Boyd Chavis; her brother Thomas "Butch" Gilpin (Ida); her nephews, Dewayne Mogg and Sean Gilpin; her stepson Thomas Gaster (Paige); and her stepgrandchildren, Matt Gaster (Caitlyn) and Rachel Edmunds (Jake).
