James Vernon Barnhill Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 82, James Vernon Barnhill (Johnsonville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon James Barnhill and Helen Dean Powell Barnhill. He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Barnhill; his children, Kathryn Marie Haselden (Brett) of Johnsonville, Melissa Ann Barnhill of Hemingway, Beverly Thompson (Michael) of Andrews and Jody Newton (Tonya) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Jacy Haselden, Raven Paquette Breanna (Lucas), Clayton Barnhill (Savanna), Tiffany Barnhill, Britny Harrington, Donnie Thompson and Aaron Jolly; his great grandchildren, Aftene Russ, Dawsyn Russ, Baxlee Harrington and Jagger Harrington; and his sisters, Mettie Ruth Barnhill of Hemingway and Debra Barnhill-Pajaro of Hemingway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
