With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Murphy (Johnsonville, South Carolina), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 9, 2019 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Murphy and Delphia Bailey Murphy; his brother Roy Allen Murphy; and his nieces, Melinda Williams and Jennifer Lynn Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Sinthia Cupp Murphy of Effingham; his siblings, Howard D. Murphy (Gail) of Ashcamp, KY and Sandra Crum (Larry) of Ashcamp, KY; his nieces and nephews, Julie Taylor (Billy), Colby Murphy (Kezia), Crystal King (Burl), Misty Deskins (David), Larissia Dumas (Cole), Hope Murphy, Connie Price Robin (Jeff) and Bobby Buckner; and his close friends, Robert, Miriam Parnell and Katie Walling. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
