He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Samuel Miller and Maggie Walstrom Miller of Virginia; his grandchildren, Derrick Singletary and Stephanie Singletary; and his siblings, Deborah J. Johnson-Jones and Robert E. Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel B. Miller (Elaine) of Andrews, Jefferson K. Miller of Johnsonville and Amanda M. Miller (Brian) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Kaylib, Tori, Bailey, Christopher, Gage, Stanley and Trinity; his great grandchild Sage; and his brother Charles A. "Gus" Miller of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
