It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Rodgers (Johnsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on November 27, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Chandler and Lorena Mercer Chandler; her daughter Barbara Florence Wilson; and her siblings, Ryan Chandler, Iva Pritcher, Mildred Hall, Ralph Chandler, Norma Baker, Dorothy Knight and Keith Chandler.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Furman Rodgers; her children, Melvin "Zander" Rodgers (Susan) of Florence and Mary Chandler Duke of Turbeville; her son-in-law Richard O. Wilson of Cades; and her grandchildren, Emily Bair (Rusty), Pam Long (Rhett), Jamie Huggins (Tad), Alex Rodgers (Amber) and Megan Stuckey. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
