She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chapman and Ruth Nettles Stone; and her children, Charles Wilkes, Ronnie Wilkes (Ann) and Wanda Gail Wilkes.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Wilkes (Joan), Robert Wilkes (Cheryl), Glen Wilkes, Donnie Wilkes, Jerry C. O'Reilly (Serena B.) and Nicole Marie O'Reilly; and her siblings, David Stone (Mary), Tim Stone (Shirley), Linda Fennell and Kathy Stone. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
