Eleanor Ann Poston Weaver Obituary

Eleanor Ann Poston Weaver, 87, widow of Manning Maxie Weaver, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Eleanor was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late Walter and Annie Ophelia Carraway Poston. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the St. Paul Presbyterian Church where she served as the church organist and she was also a prayer warrior.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Elaine Jones and Beth Hanna; grandchildren, Jacklin Bennett, Dennis Jones, William (Stephanie) Jones, and David (Suzy) Jones; great-grandchildren, Blake Lawson, Alyssa (Jay) Bailey, Haven Jones, Thomas Jones, Katelyn Jones, Kaydence Jones, Karson Jones, Kayne Jones, and Ansley Jones; step great-grandson, Abdi Lopez; step-great-granddaughters, Nani Lopez and Brooklyn Welch.

Mrs. Eleanor was predeceased by her son-in-law, Bill Jones, Grandson, Walter Jones and her Great Grandson, Tyler Jones.

Memorial services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 116 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the St. Paul Presbyterian Church Family Life Center, 116 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
