It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deette Young (Johnsonville, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Angilene Daniels Lynch and Curtis Dermont Lowder; her husband Phillip Young of Scranton; her daughters, Amy Miles Webb (Jason) of Greenville and Erin Miles Strickland (Rocky) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Allie Strickland and Luke Strickland; her sister Patti Shady of Scranton; and her brother-in-law Franklin Young of Lake City. She was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
