He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Hanna Owens; his sons, Daniel Owens (Mary U.) and Randall Owens (Mary F.); and his grandchildren, Lauren Owens, April Owens, Claire Daniels, Beth Shilling and Phillip Shilling. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
