It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Howell (Johnsonville, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Howell; her parents, Marion McLoud Powell and Shady Mae Springs Powell; her grandson Maxton Howell; her siblings, Audrey Mae Evans, Beulah Maude Powell, Carthen "Cob" Powell, Milton "Squash" Powell and Levan "Brodo" Powell; and her stepsister Libby Paso.
She is survived by: her son Cecil "Brad" Howell of Johnsonville; her grandchildren, Bradlee Howell of Florence, Bethany Howell of Florence and Harley "Braxton" Howell of Johnsonville; her sister Wanda "Bay" Collins of Lake City; her sister-in-law Joyce Powell of Johnsonville; her stepsister Anita Williamson (Gary) of Whiteville, NC; and her friends, Mary Lou Johnson of Pamplico and Lori Brooks-Poston of Johnsonville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
