With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy James Baxley of Johnsonville, South Carolina, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James and Edith Creel Baxley; his siblings, Mallon Baxley, Primmie Elizabeth Baxley and Carolyn Matherly; and his nephew Jamie Herring.
He is survived by: his brother Ronnie Baxley (Carolyn); and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Baxley and Dennis Matherly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
