He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Coleman Walden; his parents, Solon Walden and Kathleen Mangum Walden; his stepson Lloyd C. Whaley; and his siblings, Joe Walden, Mary Alice Walden and Deborah Walden.
He is survived by: his children, Rick and Michelle; his stepson Michael David Whaley; his granddaughter Summer Huddleston (Paul); his great grandchildren, Macy Barnum and Kallie Barnum; and his sisters, Lillian Broome, Peggy Walden, Lisa Castle (Jerry) and Dawn Starnes (Stacy).
