He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Poston Powell of Poston Corner; his children, Derrell Powell (Donna) of Poston Corner and Desi Grainger (Shane) of Florence; his grandchildren, Cody Powell (Megan) of Johnsonville, Meagan Mattis (Tommy) of Florence, Rachael Boyd (Sims) of Florence and AJ Hart of Florence; his siblings, Bruster Powell (Judy), Fannie Poston, James Allen Powell (Betty) and Billie Faye Ford; and his sister-in-law Eunice Powell (Malcolm).
