He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Albert Parsons and Rosa Corinne Barnes Parsons; his son Luther Clint Parsons; his grandson John Briar Boyd; and his brother Wayne Edward Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee Smothers Parsons; his children, Albert Ronald "Ronnie" Parsons, II, Melanie Parsons, Mendy Langley and Brandi Parsons; his stepdaughter Pam Moore (Johnny); his sisters, Patsy Parsons Morris (Jimmy) and Cathy Parsons Cotton (Charles); and his sister-in-law Linda Parsons. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
