He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Easter Hymes LaRoche; his children, Kristal Lumley (Kenneth) of Johns Island, Wilbur "Jayar" of New York City and Ira (Britney) of Johns Island; his granddaughters, Shayna and Sydnee of Charleston; his sister Patty Mack (Sandy) of Wadmalaw Island; his sister-in-law Mildred Waites LaRoche (late Leroy); his stepgrandmother Florrie Farmer; his aunts, Laverne Taylor (late Shirley), Phyllis LaRoche and Loretta Saunders (late Alphonso); his uncle William Saunders (Hermena); his niece Allison LaRoche; and his adoptive daughter Patty Rhom Wesley of Columbia. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
