She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Nowell and Ruth Hart; and her sister Mary Frances Knight. She is survived by: her husband Charles McCoy Waters; her children, Levi Anthony "Tony" Waters, Charles McCoy Waters, Jr. and Charlene Brainerd (Web); and her granddaughter Jennifer Brainerd.
