He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Grey Minshew and Marie Hanahan Minshew; and his daughter Sharon Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hanahan; and his children, Nancy Flynn, Richard Heydrick, Robert Heydrick, Janie Hall, Grey Minshew (Anne), Zana Roberts (Carl) and Ralph Hanahan Jr. (Jenny). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
