With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Brunson Jarriel (Johns Island, South Carolina), who passed away on September 18, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son George Wayne. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela J. Demas (Ted) of Hillsborough, NC and Donna J. Parrish (Sim) of James Island, SC; her daughter-in-law Linda B. Jarriel of Johns Island, SC; and her siblings, Julian "Pete" Brunson (Bobbie) of Varnville, SC, Kelly "Max" Maxwell Brunson, Jr. and Myrna B. Wilson of Fairfax, SC.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
