It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Nelson of Johns Island, South Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Willie Jo Nelson, Lucille Nelson, John Greene (Lydia), Phillip Nelson (Pastor Elizabeth), Francis Nelson (Robertha), Maybelle Jones (Alfred), Minster Alverna Graham (Carl), Raye T. Nelson (Corine), Jeanette Smalls, David Brown, Angela Cohen, Emily Thompson, Joseph Nelson and Mary Miller. She was also cherished by 36 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 Facial Mask is required at visitation in chapel and graveside services.
