She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice Hart and John Lewis Gervais; her granddaughter Elizabeth Seabrook Hills; her siblings, Julia Emma Gervais Puckette and John Lewis Gervais, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Diddie Sams Gervais, Julia Leland Gervais and Dr. Stephen Elliott Puckette.
She is survived by: her husband Marshall Whilden Hills; her children, Mary Alice Meise, Marshall Whilden Hills, Jr. (Alice), John Lewis Gervais Hills (Sharon) and James Clark Hills (Linda); her grandchildren, Emily Hills Bengal (Lucas), Janie Taber Hills Stelling (Scott), Mary Whilden Hills Behrhorst (Bradley), Marshall Whilden Hills, III (Lauren), Sarah Hills Johnson (Michael), John Lewis Gervais, Jr. (Elizabeth), Henry Edward Meise (Elle), Mary Alice Hart Meise, Victoria Elizabeth Hills and Caroline Gallagher Hills; her stepgrandchildren, Eliza Hutto Cantwell (Josh) and Thomas Asbury Hutto (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Allysa Marie Hart Davis, Colby Lisle Neal, Scarlett Elizabeth Johnson, Bowers Hills Cantwell, Taber Magill Stelling, George Arthur Ziozias Johnson IV, Annie Hall Gaillard Stelling, Isabel June Bengal, Ellis Humphrey Cantwell, John Baker Hutto, Lewis Gardner Connor and Caroline Asbury Hutto; her brother Philip Emanuel Gervais; and her sister-in-law Catherine Puckette. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
