With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Mae Smith (Johns Island, South Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2021 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her husband James S. Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Clement, Sr., Shelly Lemon, James Smith, Jr., Patricia Smith and Stewart Smith, Sr. (Simplicia); her siblings, Dorothy Scott and John LaBoard; and her close friend Thelma Robinson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, February 26, from 3 - 7 pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel, located at 3407 Old Pond Rd. A graveside celebration of Lillie Mae's life will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 12 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2718 River Rd. Facial coverings and social distancing are required!
