He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Charles Tombs and Bernice Gauley Tombs. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Andrew "Drew" Tombs (Blakely) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Tory Tombs of Mesa, AZ, Devin Tombs (Alex) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Cate Tombs of Oakland, CA, Lauren LeMoine of Charleston, SC and Callie LeMoine Roberson (Justin) of Summerville, SC; his siblings, Terry Tombs (Sandra) of Alliston, Canada and Susan Kavelman of Amherstburg, Canada; his grandchildren, Trenton Tombs (Gabi), Kayden Madysen, Maryn Tombs, Molly Tombs, Lyla Roberson, Grady Roberson, Everett Tombs and Wallace Tombs; and his great grandchild Levi Tombs.
