He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia Douglas Meadows; his son Joseph Meadows (Kristy) of West Ashley; his sister Joann Hlavac (Jimmy) of James Island; his significant other Karen Channels; his cousins, Brenda Betterton and Braddie Newell (Beverly); and his brother-in-law Stan Douglas Lyman (Denise). He was also cherished by other cousins, nieces & nephews and was a brother from another mother.
