She was predeceased by: her parent Oliver Mazzell. She is survived by: her parent Annie Ballentine Mazzell; her spouse Ernest Koger of Johns Island, SC; and her children, Marilyn K. Sims (Thomas) of Charleston, SC, Jenny Koger of Charleston, SC and Robert Ernest Koger of Johns Island, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of the Beginner Sunday School Class to the First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Hwy., Charleston, SC 29455.
