She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Simpson of Fort Worth, TX, Rhonda Simpson of Greer, SC and Travis Peake of Joanna, SC.; her grandsons, Brandon Simpson-Steven, Trevonne Simpson-Steven and Jaylin Copeland; and her siblings, Jannie M. Caldwell (Crosby) of Ninety-Six, SC, Sarah Ethel Jackson of Charleston, SC and James Melvin Higgins (Kathy) of Newberry, SC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, she faithfully attended Mt. Olive's Online Worship Services and meetings.
