She was predeceased by: her husband George David Bell; her parents, Gene Davis Redden and Mettie Gambrell Mobley; and her sons, Lewis E. McCarty and Christopher David Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Bell McDowell (Morris) and Tammy Baughman; her daughter-in-law Lisa McCarty; her siblings, Tommy Redden, Robbie Redden and Lillie R. Nichols; and her grandson Jimmie Wayne McFarland, III. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many adopted grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Lewis McCarty's memory to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue., Greenwood, SC 29646.
