He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Timothy Lewis and Virginia "Carrie" Ackerman; his children, Mary Melanie Ackerman Gosnell and Wilbur Randall Ackerman; his siblings, James Lewis, Lewis, Reynold Ackerman, Florence Genelle Ackerman Morton, Virgie Wilkison and Mary E. Beasley; his grandson Patrick Derryl Ackerman; and his great grandchild Harmony Caroline Ackerman.
He is survived by: his close friend Cassie Just; his sons, Milton Derryl Ackerman of Shulerville, Joseph Bryan Ackerman of Shulerville and Timothy Lee Ackerman of Shulerville; his sisters, Audrey Fatzinger of Lutz, Geraldine Edeker of Moss Point, MS and Geneva Moore of Georgia; his grandchildren, Jody Lynn Ackerman, Misty Dawn Ackerman, Meghan Ackerman, Joel Michael Ackerman and Brianna Foreman; his great grandchildren, Emma Casselman, Shelby Casselman, Ariana Renee Shelton, Mia Elizabeth Ackerman, Carmen Isabella Ruis-Morales, Gabriella Ruis-Morales, Carrie Ackerman, Blythe Ackerman, Matthew Foreman and Enola Foreman; and also Michaela Just of Shulerville.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Ackerman.
